Gambaran Pengetahuan Wanita Usia Subur terhadap Menopause Dini di UPTD Puskesmas Kayon

Early menopause is a condition where the body no longer produces the hormone estrogen before the age of 40. According to the Word Health Organizattion (WHO) in (2021) who experienced early menopause around 30% of the 40 million people aged 35-40 years. at UPTD Puskesmas Kayon, it was found that the incidence of early menopause had increased from 2022 as many as 223 people to 242 people in 2023. to find out how the knowledge of women of childbearing age towards early menopause at UPTD Kayon Health Center. This research uses descriptive with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all women of childbearing age with a sample of 54 respondents using accidental sampling technique. the overall picture of knowledge of women of childbearing age towards early menopause shows that most respondents have sufficient knowledge of (42.5%) with, among others, knowledge based on understanding (43%), knowledge based on causes (44%), knowledge based on signs and symptoms (63%) and knowledge based on influencing factors (48%). In addition, the characteristics of respondents based on the majority of age> 35 years as many as 28 respondents (52%), the majority of high school education as many as 25 respondents (46%), the majority of jobs are not working (IRT) as many as 41 respondents (76%) and based on parity with the majority of multiparous 34 respondents (64%).
