Gambaran Pengetahuan Remaja Tentang Perilaku Seksual di SMAN 4 Palangkaraya

Background: Adolescents are the population in the age range of 10 to 19 years. Behavior can be interpreted as a person's response to existing stimuli while sexual is a stimulus or urge that arises in connection with sex. The prevalence of ODHA 2018 is around 30% of the 40 million people with HIV / AIDS and is 10.3 million aged 15-24 years. Indonesia has an increasing number of cases every year, around 48,300 HIV cases in 2017 where 20% aged 15-24 years are infected with HIV and 9,280 cases with AIDS. Based on interviews with 6 out of 10 respondents at SMAN 4 Palangkaraya, it was found that there is still a low understanding of information related to sexual behavior. Methods: This study used descriptive quantitative. The population was all students of class XI SMAN 4 Palangkaraya as many as 480 people with simple random sampling technique as many as 83 respondents. The variable of this study is the knowledge of adolescents about sexual behavior in SMAN 4 Palangkaraya. Results: The results showed that adolescents in SMAN 4 Palangkaraya had a low level of knowledge as many as 70 respondents (84.3%) and high knowledge only 13 respondents (15.7%). Conclusion: There is still a lack of understanding of adolescents about the forms and impact on sexual behavior. The results of this study suggested to the school to be able to socialize and provide education about sexual behavior in adolescents so that adolescents' knowledge will increase.
