Methods: This study used a quantitative design with a crossectional approach. The population of this study were all acceptors who were at the Pahandut Health Center with accidental sampling technique which amounted to 30 acceptors. Results: This study shows that the causative factors of low MHJP users include age (20-35 years), namely 26 (87%), education (higher education), namely 15 people (50%), the type of contraception mostly uses short-term contraception, namely 29 people (97%), knowledge is mostly in the good category, namely 17 people (57%), and husband support is mostly in the low category, namely 11 people (37%). Conclusion: There are several factors that may cause low use of MHJP contraception, namely based on age, education, knowledge and husband support, so it is hoped that there will be a development of methods of providing information from the Puskesmas to WUS about the importance of using contraception, especially long-term contraception.
